| Summary: | 碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 商管專業學院 === 98 === The purpose of the present research is to discuss living satisfaction of nursing home and its related factors which includes all kinds of subjective and objective factors. The present research is a case study whose subjects are nurses, inhabitants and their relatives of a nursing home in Taichung City. In-depth interview will be the major research method of the present research, and the Illustrative method will be applied to compare interval documents with transcription and previous literature.
The result of the present research illustrates that there is a direct impact on living satisfaction and the preference of choosing nursing home from how well the communication between the inhabitants and the staff. The nationality of the nursing aides is especially one of the serious problems. Medical nursing is an industry which requires human resources, thus, the cost of human resources is the majority in medical nursing. In order to cut down the service price to promote competition, abroad nursing aides are hired. However, it declines the effective communication rate as well as the living satisfaction towards the nursing home. Besides, most of the inhabitants do not have the knowledge of the statutes of subsidy application which leads to losing of personal rights. Thus, the inhabitants’ satisfaction towards nursing home will be promoted if social workers can actively provide relative information.
The result of the present research can help runners, managers and nursing aides of the nursing home realize the inhabitants’ living satisfaction, adaptation status, mental perception status and their relativities. This can also be taken as the basis of teaching, researching, assessing or planning and provides a reference to long-term nursing institution and relative service policies which offers future long-term inhabitants appropriate service and nursing and better living satisfaction.
