Furthermore, the study will understand how teachers’ background variables, like gender, age, teaching seniority, marital status, income level have influence on their attitude and managements toward money. The research adopts questionnaire survey and statistical methods to investigate 27 selected public elementary schools in Taoyuan County. The study sends out 451 copies of questionnaires to the teachers and 410 copies are valid and the response rate is 90.9%. The data collected from the survey are analyzed by the statistic methods of descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Spearman’s product-moment correlation. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The elementary school teachers have plans to accumulate their wealth and do not regard money as a symbol of success. 2. Significant differences are found in the elementary school teachers between the attitude towards money and personal or environmental backgrounds. 3. The elementary school teachers have a conservative and serious financial management. 4. Significant differences are found in the elementary school teachers between the financial managements and personal or environmental backgrounds. 5. There are positive correlations between elementary school teachers’ money attitude and financial managements. Based on the results of research, the author presents several recommendations for education authorities, financial institutions, elementary school teachers and future researchers’ references. The recommendations of this study are as follows: 1. The education authorities should provide more financial programs and the related trainings for teachers and elementary school students. 2. The financial institutions could offer teachers with necessary financial plans and the proper financial courses. 3. The elementary school teachers could actively learn financial knowledge and adjust money behavior with the cycle of the economic boom. 4. Future researchers can expand the scope of the study and research methods.
