The main features of the broad band circular polarized (CP) printed slot antenna are an L-shaped slot and a pair of inverted L-shaped corner slits. In this design, a higher CP frequency band created by a pair of inverted L-shaped corner slits and a lower CP frequency band created by a pair of inverted L-shaped corner slits can be combined to from a wide CP bandwidth of larger than 40 %. The main features of the dual-band CP printed slot antenna are an embedded slot into the feeding signal line and a pair of inverted L-shaped slits at two corners of L-slot. The lower CP frequency band is created by the original L-shaped slot. The embedded slot is employed to create a first high-frequency CP band, while a pair of inverted L-shaped corner slits to create a second higher-frequency CP band.
