The subjects are senior citizens from Greater Tainan ,whose age is fifty five years old and more. There were 850 questionnaires were handed out and returned 805 ones with the returned rate of 94.7 percent. After eliminating 18 invalid questionnaires because of their incomplete answers and unsuficient answers, there were 787 valid questionnaires with the 92.5 % valid rate. The data were ananlized through descriptive statistical analysis, one way anova, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression analisys of the quantitative analysis method. The conclusion therefore were drawn and stated as follows: 1.In terms of participation of learning as a whole in learning efficiency, the senior learners present the ultimum efficiency in soul—mind growth level. 2.In terms of participation in of learning as a whole in gaining the sense of happiness, the senior learners exhibit the ultimum satisfaction towards living. 3.There’s explicit differences between various health conditions in influencing the senior citizens’learning efficiency. Among, which, the best shape senior learners process the ultimum efficiency in learning. 4.The different results of learning was fluntuated by the senior learners’ living location. The senior learners that live in the suburban areas exhibit the least level of sense of happines and least level of learning efficiency. 5.Those subjects who participated in learning for 2~3 years presents the best in learning efficieny and the best of sense of happines. 6.The senior learners felt most fulfilling in terms of learning efficiency and sense of happiness when they take part in curriculum planning. 7.The subjects exhibit the best level of learning efficiency and sense of happiness, when they feel the curriculum is subject-centered. 8.There’s positive correction between the age and their sense of happiness. 9.The never married senior learners present the least level of sense of happiness. 10.The better the learning efficieny, the more likely to gain sense of happiness. 11.There is prediction value towards the learning efficiency and their sense of happiness.
