碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 成人及繼續教育研究所 === 99 === Abstract This research mainly discusses the positive mood transformation progress of the cancer sickness who has the Buddhism belief. It includes the concept of the influence of the Buddhism belief, the resources helping to learn the transformation, and the changes after the positive mood transformation. This research is the character oriented. The participants are the adults above 18 years old, whose believes is the Buddhism, diagnosed as the cancer sickness by doctors. Their treatment period is over three years, and the condition is traced continuously to be stable or healing. The material was collected by the structural deep interview. The reorganization material was analyzed by the hermeneutics. Then, the research conclusion is obtained as follows: 1、 The mood transformation can be classified as four phases. They are the time of confusion and exhaust, the time of understanding, the time of confession, and the time of realization. It is kind of learning in the spiritual transformation. 2、 The points of view in Buddhism belief, the “causes and effects”, “uncertainty of the life” and “the transmigration of the soul”, can make the cancer patients to realize the fast changes in the life. And it helps them to overcome the sadness and the fear to death and leads to the improvement in the life and psychology. 3、“Scripture reading”, “Group study”, “model learning”, “hypothesis goal”, “taking pleasure in serving others” is the powerful resource to convert the mood. 4、Voluntary worker to service others can be a very positive effect. It helps the patients to refresh themselves. The patients can find the eternal value for the life to exist in the service. Based on the above findings, the research wants to propose some suggestion for the future study of the Medical establishment. And it could be a good reference to the cancer sickness, their family members. Based on the above findings, the research wants to propose some suggestion as the below: A. The suggestion to the patients 1、 Try to get the support from the religion believe. 2、 Try to read broadly to improve the spiritual level. 3、 Stay with the family and try to change the habit of food. 4、 Join the friend association of the cancer sickness. Share the experience and help each other. 5、 Set up the goal of the life. Do the best to practice the personal wish. 6、 Open your mind to merge with the society. Look for the meaningful life. B. The suggestion to the adult education association 1、 Widely give courses in life education. 2、 Establish the groups to encourage the spiritual growth. 3、 Hold the counseling courses of spiritual health periodically. C. The suggestion to the future research 1、 It can be extended to the different types of participants with no regional believe or the other believes. 2、 The difference of the transformation learning between the different sexual distinctions. 3、 The interview can be extended to the family to get more reference and the details. 4、 The location for interview should be in privacy for better result.
