| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 政治學研究所 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between foreign
spouse’s life adjustment and Taiwanese identity in Tainan County Kuantien.
Participants were foreign spouses from Tainan County Kuantien. Self-designed
questionnaire was delivered to the participants to gather related data. Statistic were
descriptive statistics, independent t test ,ANOVA and Pearson correlation
analysis.The findings of this research were as follows：
1. Which household income is not good result in foreign spouse’s low life
adjustment in Tainan County Kuantien.Therefore, if it is able to meet their economic
needs, it will help them adapt to life in Taiwan.
2. The foreign spouse requires a lot of courage to say goodbye to their familiar
family and went to Taiwan to start their new life. To enhance foreign spouse’s low
life adjustment, the local government can apply for foreign spouses orientation
counseling program.
3. The foreign spouse come to Taiwan longer, and they are more able to identify the
country's culture. It is suggested that family members of foreign spouses are able to
tolerate them with more tolerant heart.
4. The cultural identity , system identity ,and the whole of Taiwan identity of
working foreign spouse were significantly higher than the not working foreign
spouse. It is suggested that family members of foreign spouses can communicate
Taiwanese culture and explain Taiwan's policy to improve the Taiwanese culture and
system identification.
