The researcher adopted questionnaire survey. The researcher took the teachers in Chang-hua County elementary schools as the population and got samples by stratified convenience sampling.648 samples were effective among 678 teachers and the valid response rate was 96%. Analytic data were rendered in some ways, including mean, standard Deviation, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Analytical results of this research were concluded as follows: 1.Teachers in Chang-hua County elementary schools with regard to principals’ paternalistic leadship was ranked as upper-intermediate. 2.The teachers’individual background variables such as age, seniority, position and working time with the principal showed the significant differences on the principals’ paternalistic leadership. 3. Teachers in Chang-hua County elementary schools with regard to organizational citizenship behavior was ranked as upper-intermediate. 4.The teachers’individual background variables such as gender, age, seniority, educational background, positions showed the significant differences on the teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior. 5.There were positive correlation between principals’ paternalistic leadship and teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior. 6. Principals’ benevolent leadship could predict teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior effectively. Finally, in accordance with the conclusion, the researcher proposed specific suggestions as references for the elementary schools’ administration, the elementary schools’ teachers, and for further study.
