Flicker not only causes abnormal operation of the electrical devices but also influences the stable output of lighting equipment. The assessment of voltage flicker includes two different indices. One is ΔV10 which is used Japan and Taiwan; the other is Pst that is commonly used in Europe and North America. This thesis presents the use of actual measurement data to compare the relationship between ΔV10 and Pst. The thesis also brings up a method to compute the severity of flicker and using not only synchronous frequency to improve the accuracy but also frequency-domain interpolation to correct the error of fast Fourier transform. Performed simulations manifests that the method adopted is considerably correct and efficacious.
