Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to construct the competency indicators of elder-education teacher. To achieve this purpose, first, literature review were adopted to the relative studies of competency of the teacher, the adult teacher and the elder-education teacher to synthesize and conclude the contents of competency of elder-education teacher. According to the contents we developed the original
conceptual framework of competency indicators. Second, indicators were developed
after recommendations and reviews with the study team of Delphi technique. Last, recommendations were generalized to be the reference materials of elder-education teachers and the institution of elder-education.
Research method was Delphi technique with 19 experts to complete the indicators. According to the research discoveries, the conclusions were generalized as follows. Indicators developed include 5 dimensional indicators, 16 aspect indicators and 68 behavioral indicators.
