The searching for specific 3D models becomes an important issue. Techniques for effective and efficient content-based 3D model retrieval have therefore become an essential research topic. In this thesis, exterior and interior features are proposed for 3D model retrieval. The exterior features are angle descriptor (AD) and symmetric descriptor (SD). The interior features are angle 3D-ART descriptor, radial 3D-ART descriptor and curvature 3D-ART descriptor. To improve the retrieval results, the exterior and interior features will be combined based on dynamic multi-descriptor fusion (DMDF).
