Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 99 === Micro-lens array comprises multiple lenses with very small aperture. This thesis studies the use of Fresnel diffraction formula to simulate micro-lens array for laser beam shaping. The results are compared with the simulation by the opto-mechanical simulation software ASAP. It is shown that there are significant differences between the simulation results by the uses of Fresnel diffraction formula and ASAP. Paraxial approximation has been made for Fresnel diffraction formula. In addition, reflection effect is not considered in the model using Fresnel diffraction formula. For the application of micro-lens array, these two assumptions are not valid. Therefore, it is required to use Kirchoff diffraction formula for simulating micro-lens array. In the more accurate model, reflection effect also has to be considered.
