It begins local’s direct impact from the globalization. In addition, as the development of a democratic society, and the gradual awakening of public consciousness, desire for private sector willingness to participate in public affairs at deep. Community is the most convenient and popular participation in governance the most basic unit of form and function of community governance and attention by the new look. n this study, the concept of community governance attempts to explore the communities of Taichung communities’ political, economic, institutional, and cultural characteristics of four for and mining the local development, community governance and their relationships. The study found that community governance and local development in the relationship, from a case study we can see that their community leadership and the asscociation’s membership and volunteers, although the number of participants so each has its different forms, but it has its own local development Positive impact. From the case of the communities’ governance model we find it concern with chairman’s leading style. Therefore, the local development community and its governance model does have its relevance. This study suggest that the government not only just grants the financial help to communities but also should help to sale communities’ problem from the power in order to achieve good governance.
