It is kind of common decease of vein. Medical compression stockings use the compression to press to treat or decrease the deceases caused by the malfunction of lower limb and lymphoid system, such as the varicose veins, DVT, swollen lymph nodes, edema….extra. According to the compression range, compression stockings are divided into four classes low compression, medium compression, middle high compression and high compression. The compression principle is 100% of compression in ankle and it decreases progressive from calf to thigh. The compression should meet the compression in veins so that it can ensure the therapeutic effect and will not cause additional burden to the legs. Comparing the medical compression stockings with other compression treatment device, the compression stockings have the advantage of convenience. It is suitable to homecare use and it can be wore in long time. Although, there are many kinds of compression stockings in the market, there are some technical problems exist. Most stocking knitting machines control the density and size of the needle rings by changing the speed of yarn feeding. It makes the knitting density is not accurate and it can not knit the stocking according to the circumference of legs correctly. In consequence, the incorrect size of knitting will cause the discomfort when wearing. This text studies the automatically minor adjustment of cylinder to control the needles movement accurately and change the density of needle rings to knit the correct product meeting each sizes and compression of legs. At the same time, by using the lower tension force yarn feeding techniques to decrease the prestress when knitting. Accurate controlling the yarn feeding amount can set up the base of 100% compression in ankle, 100% ~ 70% compression in heel, 50% ~70% in calf and 20% ~ 50% compression in thigh. It can meet the effect of graduated decreasing compression. The distribution of graduated compression also meets the regulation of Germany standard of compression stockings RAL-GZ 387/1. The study adopted small forming tank and it makes the single stocking formed under the fixed temperature, fixed pressure and fixed time. It also uses the fixed tension unloading stocking device to decrease the differences in sizes of stockings and improve the stability of sizes. In the meanwhile, we process the survey and analyzing of leg types to get the confirmed circumference of legs for manufacturer and customer’s reference. The target product of this study is medical compression stockings. According to the classification of medical device of MOH, it belongs to class I and class II. It needs the professional medical verification from patients selecting, pathology examination, educative nursing, medical consultation, repeat consultation or medical check after recovery. The wearing of medical compression stockings should be diagnosed by professional doctors. In the European and American countries, it is necessary to have the descriptions to use the middle compression stockings. This study constructs whole producing process techniques from devices, producing process, material, application and evaluation. We hope that it can improve the producing techniques of compression treatment devices in Taiwan.
