Therefore, the Fiber-optic communication technology has improved rapidly and becoming the mainstream of network communication. The primary reason of Fiber-optic communication will becoming the mainstream because its huge transmission capacity, with the DWDM (Dense Wide-length Division Multiplexing) technology, each fiber can contains 200 light-paths and each light-path support rates of 40 gigabits per second (OC-768). In other way, the Fiber-optic communication network has very high secrecy and immunity to electromagnetic interference compared with the old electrical transmission network. Because of this, it is very suitable for network backbone, enterprise network and campus network...etc. Otherwise, due to the popularization of Fiber-optic communication, there is a trend towards more and more home network switch to use the Fiber-optic technology. The transmission capacity of Fiber-optic communication is also a double edged sword, due to its huge transmission capacity, when the network component failure in the fiber-optic network will lead to the lose messages of serious. Therefore, this research focuses on how to use the least monitor to attains comprehensive and precise Fault Localization.
