Therefore, many researches were proposed to guarantee the quality of services or improve the frame utilization. This study discovered that the packet scheduling and PHY resource allocation scheme are dependent on each other and should be concurrently studied. In this thesis, an adaptive PHY frame resource allocation scheme is proposed. This scheme was dynamic according to different distributions of service types to improve the frame utilization. This thesis uses simulations to investigate the influence of different schedulers and network scenarios on the proposed scheme. The results suggest that different schedulers are suited to different network scenarios on the proposed scheme. Finally, the proposed scheme is following rules of resource allocation in the WiMAX standard that could be expected to implement the proposed scheme in the real world.
