碩士 === 佛光大學 === 政治學系 === 99 === ABSTRACT In the city Taipei of globalization, urban waterfront environment and sightseeing industries have an advantage. Water is the birthplace of many cities, it maintain human survival and save human by need of natural resources, therefore many beautiful waterfront cities developed; however as many countries in highly urbanized cities dependence on water decreases, the historical development of the waterfront is not important. With human behavior's serious pollution of the river environment, destroyed important history, hydrology and natural resources. This study is focused on the empirical special planning of Bitan hydrophilic cases, to establish a research and design suitable for Taipei. A second point is the survey can be used to compare results before and after construction. Lastly the Ami Tribe's Reservation and the State have proposed a ecologically friendly concept of sustainable development to meet environmental and ecological, historical and cultural as well as an economic balance. The big Bitan is now located in the "cooperative housing" area, but it not only enhances cultural and historical waterfront space, but provides recreational, ecological and educational activities.
