Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 未來學系 === 99 === Abstract An action research was designed to describe the effects of futures workshop on future time perspective for junior high school students. The main purpose of this study was to explore how the futures workshop affected students’ Future Time Perspective and what the effects were. The researcher applied qualitative method to collect data, including observation notes, questionnaires, interviews, students’ feedback sheets, and the researcher’s and teacher’s reflection diary. All the data were coded, analyzed, and then compared mutually. Triangulation method was employed to ensure the reliability of data analysis. Besides, the research also applied quantitative methods by undergoing the pre-test and post-test regarding future time perspective to make an interactive confirmation. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows: 一、The theory and curriculum of futures workshop effected the students’ future time perspective, including viewing and de-constructing the past and seeking the possible solutions;forecasting the challenges in the future and seeking the possible ways to face them;setting up a more positive future image. 二、The teaching activities of futures workshop effected the students’ future time perspective, including games, theatre of the oppressed, brainstorming and discussion. 三、The effects of the futures workshop on students’ future time perceptive were in order as follows: future forecast and time planning, future discussion, future preparation, future goal and individual relatedness, and future perception. 四、The curriculum could help the students cooperatively solve the problem, strengthen the class centripetal force, and promote the class studying atmosphere. 五、The comparison between the pre-test and post-test indicated futures workshop was helpful to promote students’ future time perspective. 六、Through the observation in the study, the researcher found that the students had more independent study ability than before. Students’ learning attitudes became more active and positive. They were more confident in their study. 七、Through the reflection in the study, the researcher promoted her professional knowledge of futures education. Hopefully,the above results provide the reference for the future practice and future research.
