Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 未來學系 === 99 === Idolism is a fact that currently exists among the teenagers, and it is also a campus culture in senior high schools nowadays. Why do senior high school students admire idols? How do they feel about the idol worship in mentality, and what are their crazy behaviors? About idol admiration, are there any differences between genders or among distinct ethnic groups? It’s really an issue worth discussing and studying. The study aimed to investigate the idolization of senior high school students and propose suggestions for solving problems relating to the phenomenon. Using survey as the research method, 1080 questionnaires were issued to senior high school students in Yilan County, 1022 of them were sent back and the valid ones were 1000. The rate of return was 97.9%. The data collected were analyzed through descriptive statistic, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results were as follows: 1. The intensity of idolization of female students in vocation senior high schools was significantly higher than that of other senior high students. 2. Senior high school students worshiped “movie stars and singers” and “virtual characters” most. The percentage of female students who worshiped “movie stars and singers” was significantly higher than male students. Male students worshiped “sports stars” and “virtual characters” more than female students. 3. Senior high school students regarded their idols as role models. 4. As to the intensity of idolization, female senior high school students were higher than male ones, tenth graders were higher than eleventh and twelfth graders, and female vocational high school students were higher than girls in academic senior high schools.
