The Mn7 is synthesized from [Mn3O(O2CMe)6(py)3](ClO4) and heampH3 ligand. The compound is composed of one MnII as a centere which surrounding by a hexagon consisted by six MnIII. The dc magnetic susceptibilities and reduced magnetization revealed that the Mn7 has molecule spin of 19/2 and zero-field splitting of -0.16 cm-1. The ac magnetic susceptibility measurements exhibited the Mn7 has out-of-phase signals, is an single molecule magnet with the effective energy barrier of 12.9 cm-1. The high-field electron paramagnetic resonance (HFEPR) studies indicate the S = 19/2, g = 1.96, D = -0.16 cm-1. The HFEPR confirmed that the Mn7 is a new member of half-integer spin SMM.
