However, capturing whole screen utilizes too much system resource and the recoded screen data is usually large. Convesly, extracting screen updates by windows events utilizes less system resource, but not every screen update generates windows events. This study purposes a Sporadic Dynamic Algorithm (SDA ) to reduce the system resource by regulating these two technologies. Additionally, this study tests the effectireness of reducing CPU utilization with using SDA in 4 different applications, web browsing, text editing, slide presentation, and video playback. Experimental results show that the SDA mechanism reduces system workload, CPU utilization, by more than 40%. The improvements are significant. Chang,Shinhung 張信宏 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 55 zh-TW
