Data for 196 subjects in this study came from Longitudinal Health Insurance Database 2000(LHID2000) in National Health Insurance Research Database. There are three dimensions in this research including characteristics of patients, hospitals and medical situation. Those data had been analyzed by means of Descriptive Statistics, Correlation Analysis, Classification and Regression Tree, Logistic Regression and Correspondence Analysis. The results of study are following: 1、 Among these subject, more then half of the patient were male, over 80% have risk factors and Hypertension were the major risk, over 90% subjects were hemorrhagic stroke, about 20% subjects have used to use Chinese medicine, and one third of them were interhospital transferred . 2、 Ambulatory care visits and the degree of Chinese medicine using are positively correlated. In the other word, high Ambulatory care visits leads to more Chinese medicine using. Besides, the percentage of Chinese medicine user varies among groups. 3、 Patient with long hospital stay, high Ambulatory care visits and were interhospital transferred are more likely to apply the Chinese medicine.
