Not only the status of gods are higher than the goddness,but also the amounts of gods are more than the goddness. For example,the god is named Tu Di Gong who has existed longer than his wife-Tu Di Po. Tu Di Gong is more popular than Tu Di Po. No one cares about Tu Di Po,because she is not important for people. However,the goddess Mazu who has high status plays an important role in the folk beliefs today. In Taiwan,there is famous and important activity about Mazu. The Tachia Goddess of the Sea Rao territory in lunar calendar March is a big great event of the Taiwanese religion every year,and many people crazy about it.
From the historical record,We learn that culture of Mazu belief believed bychinese people living over the world. The Mazu belief is also indirectly involved in many aspects,for example cultural,economic and diplomatic.With the history of the changing times,many factors change impression of Mazu, especiallythe magical things that Mazu help people. Mazu has magic power that she can do every incredible thing today,but long time a ago,people thought Mazu just protected people crossing the sea.However ,several Chinese emperors rewarded Mazu,so Mazu became queen finally. Mazu is highest status than other goddness,even most gods.Even she is an queen goddness,she still nice and kind. There are many stories about she use extraordinary power to help people if they need. So people have different impressiom in their mind about Mazu.She is so nice,and kind that people thinks Mazu as mother.
Therefore,this article aims to understand the people from the various 「Folk Mazu's Faith miracles」Mazu belief in miracles of the holy impressiom of Matsu.
