| Summary: | 碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 成人教育與人力發展學系碩士班 === 99 === The purposes of this study are to (a) identify Teachers’Job Stress and Teachers’ Efficacy of Junior High teachers in Miaoli county; (b) compare the differences among selected demographic variables on teachers’job stress and teachers’ efficacy; and (c) analyze the relationships between teachers job stress and teachers’ efficacy.In this study date were collected from”The questionnaire of the Elementary School Teachers’ Efficacy and Job Stress in Miaoli county”.Three questionnaires designed by the author were utilized for data collection including (a) demographic information sheet; (b) Junior High School Teachers’ Job Stress Scale; (c) Junior High School Teacher Efficacy Scale
The sample is 400 teachers randomly selected from 33 elementary schools in Miaoli county.356 questionnaires were collected,with 89% response rate.
The conclusions are shown below.
1.The junior high school teachers scored above average in teachers job stress,especially in “the adaption of reformation”.
2.The junior high school teachers score above average in Teachers’ Efficacy,especially in “Teachers’ Teaching Effectiveness”.
3.There are significant differences of the perception of junior hing school teachers in Teachers’ Job Stress among academic background,total service duration , position,school scale and school location.
4. There are significant differences of the perception of junior high school teachers in Teachers’ Efficacy among total service duration , position,age,school scale and school location.
5.There is a significantly negative correlation between Teachers’ Job Stress and Teachers’ Efficacy of Miaoli county junior hing school teachers.
