Summary:碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計研究所 === 99 === This study would like to use the awarded works of the Competition of Picture Books of Tainan County Ocean Education to study the Aesthetic Development and Visual representation of Junior High School Students and use the rsearch results to compare the curriculum target and basic ability of Art and humanities studying domain with the current Nine year consistent program. To understand the difference between them and to provide suggestions for the course design for art teachers. First use Content analytic method and Overall direct-vision method to sort the Picture Books into Manufacture forms, Image style manifestations and Esthetic forms. It was found that : (1) The favorite Picture Books Manufacture form for Junior High School Students is hardbound edition, paperbound is the next. (2) The most used Image style manifestation is caricature style, the next is cartoon style and design style, the third is Practical style. (3) The major stage of Drawing esthetic form for Junior High School Students is the breakthrough stage of Practical time. By the research results above we can know that there is a gap between the Aesthetic and Visual representation of Junior High School Students And the curriculum target and basic ability of Art and humanities studying domain. The students haven’t reach the expected course targets of the Art and humanities studying domain yet. So base on the research results to provide suggestions to current visual art courses for Junior High School Students as a reference for art education teachers.
