Therefore, they should take the initiative approach to confront environment change, such as learning, rather than passive acceptance of the environment. Whether employees show proactive career behavior, transfer what they have learned in the newcomers’ training and further to increase their career satisfaction constitute a critical issue. This study explores the relationship of newcomers’ proactive career behavior, transfer of orientation training and subjective career succuss. In the mean time, the study examines the mediating effects of transfer of training on the relationship of newcomers’ proactive career behavior and subjective career success. The present research is based on questionnaire survey from employees. 400 questionnaires were sent out and 236 valid ones were returned. The effective returned rate is 68.07%. The empirical results of this study are: 1.Newcomers’ proactive career behaviors have a significant positive effect on subjective career success. 2.Newcomers’ proactive career behaviors have a significant positive effect on transfer of orientation. 3.Transfer of orientation has a significant positive effect on subjective career success. 4.Transfer of orientation has mediating effect on the relationship between employees’ proactive career behavior and subjective career success.
