Due to this reason, the subject of this study is about designing and making multi-rotorcraft by myself by referring to overseas and domestic related technology and documents and using the UAV on bridge inspections through tests and experimenting on local bridges. Using the UAV to take aerial photos to undergo the inspection of the bridge was more convienant than physically walking down there and visually inspecting it. Marking the relative size between the scale and the range of deterioration by using AutoCAD and then an accurate size was calculated. Staff used these photos and synthesized superficial measurements of deterioration to estimate and record information through DERU evaluation criterion or ABCD evaluation criterion. It is hoped that relevant units could repair it as soon as possible and avoid letting visitors become injuried. Currently fewer people doing applied research are using the UAV in the domestic environment. Now is the time to promote the advantages of the UAV and it is expected in the future that there will be more examples of using the UAV in life and civil engineering.
