Contractors do not know where to begin or how to process the program after hand. The free style buildings have complicated and irregular shapes. Important details could be easily overlooked if design concept and information were expressed by 2D diagram only. Therefore, accuracy of each member parts before construction will be limited. The objective of this research is to investigate how a 3-D software program can provide technical connections between architectures and contractors for their diagrams and to promote construction quality. Some advantages can be found from cases which had applied 3-D technology to their projects: (1) It provides design aids and to increase communications. (2) It shows details that beyond traditional 2-D diagrams does. (3) It can inspect potential problems and fix them before the construction and to avoid duplicates. It has become a trend to use the 3-D software program as a design aid tool not only to provide great visual effect but also to reduce blind spots in the diagram on the constructional stage. If the contractors introduce 3-D technology and the technicians in their company, or they associate with company or individuals, then engineering disputes of these kinds can be eliminated.
