Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 機械與精密工程研究所 === 99 === This research focuses on figuring out the natural convection heat transfer in a square enclosure by using CFD simulation analysis with the Fluent commercial packaged software. The coupling between velocity and pressure in the momenturn equation is solved by Simple algorithm. The space differential is using the first-order upwing scheme. So that we can investigate the effects of heat convection efficiency in the square enclosure through varying Rayleigh number, inclined angle, partition, and arrangement of heat sources and sinks. The surfaces of both the left and right vertical walls of the square enclosure are kept heat insulated. The top wall and bottom wall are equipped with discrete heat source-sink pairs. It causes the variation of internal flow fields by changing the number of heat sources, arrangement, inclined angle, and adding partition. The results show that the Nusselt number grows with Rayleigh number relatively. Further more, the research shows that the best efficiency of heat transfer is of 60° inclined angle without partition and the effects are coincident between two and three heat source-sink pairs.
