We find it is one kind of Grashof-type linkage-driven web-cutter machery and a planar four-bar mechanism with four revolute pairs only. In the meantime, kinematics of new mechanism was analyzed by the complex number approach with the help of the symbolic computational software, Mathematica. Furthermore, it’s verify and evaluate the synthesized mechanisms by computer aided simulation software, Working Model 2D and Autodesk Inventor, and establish the model of Web-Cutter press by 3D graphics software, Inventor, and make the model by machine tools.
