In chapter 2, a meander loop resonator with hybrid-feed is propose to increase the bandwidth and reduce size. The chapter 3 and 4, a ring resonator and three resonators are used to achieve wideband operation, those structures are fed by interdigital lines with defect ground plane to increase the coupling strength and bandwidth. The filters are fabricated by FR4 substrate with low cost and easy design.
