Description
Summary:碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 99 === Asphalt concrete industry is a high energy consumption industry. It uses a lot of petrochemical products from raw materials to fuel using. With the continuing consumption of fuels and up rise of the fuel price, the asphalt plant should raise up their product’s price to maintain operation. While vicious competition with industry and government projects at lowest standard of bid price, the asphalt plant can’t raise the price to face their difficulties. The bad situation causes quality decreased of the asphalt product and increases the road pavement fixed payment. To face this kind of difficulty on declining revenues and even losses, asphalt concrete plant must rely on itself to solve the problem. But how to improve the quality and efficiency of the production process without any other extra equipment cost? The way is reducing unnecessary waste. The asphalt plant can try to find out cue of waste in the production process and improve it. This kind of method in increasing efficiency and quality not only can be done without additional equipment cost, but also reduce energy using. Always it indirectly reduces the production cost and this is what we need in the current asphalt mix industry. In this study, the aggregate sieve analysis test is done in the production process and in line with statistical hypothesis testing and regression analysis. All the tests are in other to analysis the cold feed flow and the corresponding optimum hot feed using. The focus of this study is to enhance the production process in asphalt mixing plant and to achieve efficiency, quality, stability, reducing carbon emissions, cost saving and many other benefits.
