Hence, green management has been touted as an important issue for operate business. However, previous green management- related literatures mainly from the viewpoint of process management to explore the ways to improve green management practice performance; few papers examine green management from strategic management. In fact, environmental protection has not only become the responsibility of business, but also acted as new opportunities for obtaining profit and as the critical source of competitive advantage. Therefore, regarding how to maintain competitive advantage, “human resource” becomes a key factor in organization. Through utilizing Taiwan technological industry as an empirical subject, this study from the viewpoint of strategic human resource management to explore the relationship among green management practice, managerial environmental performance and operational environmental performance. The result shows the policy of strategic human resource management has a positive impact on green management practice; green management practice has a positive impact on managerial environmental performance and operational environmental performance respectively; and strategic human resource management does not direct impact on managerial environmental performance and operational environmental performance. The results are not only the reference for industry to plan their strategies, implement green management practices, and enhance the drivers of environmental performance, but also are considered the construct of related future research issues.
