This research conducted a survey by questionnaires, and the questionnaires were sent to the subjects who were the formal teachers in public elementary schools in Changhua County. After retrieving questionnaires, use SPSS, statistical analysis software, to analysis the data. According to the results of the study analysis, this research drew seven conclusions as follows. (1)The current situations of elementary school principals’ transformational leadership, teachers’ work involvement and innovation were all good, and the relationships among them were apparently positive correlated and influenced each other. (2)For elementary school teachers, in principals’ transformational leadership, the score on the dimension of perceptional inspiration is higher than those on the dimensions of constructing common vision and encouraging potential. (3)Teachers who were concurrently as directors had higher perception of the dimensions of encouraging potential and work identification than the class teachers. (4)Teachers who were concurrently as directors surpassed class teachers in innovation-in the dimensions of production, extension, and practice. (5)Principals used transformational leadership to administer schools had the deepest influence on teachers about work identification. (6)The dimension of encouraging potential of principals’ transformational leadership was able to influence the production of innovation, the extension of innovation, and the practice of innovation the most. (7)Work involvement had complete intermediary effect between transformational leadership and innovation. Conclusive, according to the results of the study, this research brought related concrete recommendations for principals and teachers and succeeding researches and as reference for improving the quality of education and promoting the innovation of teachers.
