碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 應用中國文學系碩士在職專班 === 99 === Abstract Sanmao who was famous among numerous students for" the stories in Sahara "in the 1970s had been well-known author of a number of books for her wide-ranging artistic creation. Her works had ever reached first place of “the most influence books in 1988”, elected by the Kingstone bookstore. The achievement of her works, especially “Sahara-period prose” is remarkable with both qualities of rationality and sensibility. Besides, her stories are action-packed; her language utilization is flexible and the materials are diverse. Most of all, the essence of her thought is rich in humane concerns. She loved to live in the nature world which inspired her. What she concernd is always the true, the good and the beauty of nobody. "Sanmao’s esthetics prose on Sahara-period" is the researching subject. The thesis aims at the statements below. First of all, to provide an objective look at the experiences of the writer and her views of creation in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of her works. Besides, to sum up plenty content of her works which are full of the effects of the artistic achievements on her literary skills. Moreover, in addition to the discussion in terms of literature views, adopting views of psychology and esthetics to analyze writer’s psychological activity in the process of appreciation of the beauty. Exploring prose from the base of western theory of art and adopting three esthetics principles which are shape intuition, psychological distance and empathy effect of Chu Kuang Chain to describe the perception of shape intuition, the construction of psychological distance and the blend of empathy effect. At last,analyzing the writing skills from three aspects: they are words characteristics, language performance and literary allusions. After studying the prose of Sanmao, the following conclusions are stated: First, in Sanmao’s prose there is a sense of beauty everywhere. She wrote out the beautiful things to enrich human inside spirit. Second, strong literary accomplishment is a kind of fundamental key on the creation of her prose. Especially, her blending literary allusions with her works have inherited the spirit of classical literary. Third, she pursues natural and plain lifestyle therefore her stories are not pure and touching but like nature itself.
