Description
Summary:碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 機電工程研究所 === 99 === According to the von Mises yielding criterion, the structural design and stress analysis of the railroad switch crank have been studied in this thesis. The better geometry design of the crank for reducing the stress level has been suggested. Using SolidWorks and ANSYS sofeware, the crank geometry and finite element models are established for the stress analysis. The loading conditions are obtained from the field measurement. According to the finite element results, the optimal dimensions of the railroad switch crank are obtained. For the optimal design, the central incline angle, central fillet radius, arm inner-radius and outer-radius are 50°, 75 mm, 100 mm and 80 mm, respectively. The safety factor can be increased from 0.83 to 2.24 as the geometry is modified.
