Experiment data show that concentration of five lignans increasing from 26.14 mg/g in the extraction to 581.85 mg/g in the effluent after supercritical anti-solvent precipitation with a recovery of 84%, The elution contains schisandrol B of 145.32 mg/g, schisandrin A of 56.65mg/g, γ-schisandrin of 66.38mg/g , gomisin N of 266.70 mg/g and schisandrin C of 46.80 mg/g. Finally, experimental results of a response surface method designed for supercritical anti-solvent precipitations in the enhancement of the purity of five lignans showed that the SAS time and the carbon dioxide flow rate are significant in altering the purity and the recovery.
