| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 國際政治研究所 === 99 === China has greatest population in the world, and its economy also develops rapidly. But that’s the same reason why China has to face the challenges of environmental issues. For China, the environmental diplomacy is an approach to show his soft power, which is a new security concept under his diplomacy principle. The global environmental issue has threatening our life and safety, and it also got more and more attentions from international level. It goes without saying that global environmental governance has already become a new focus in international community. Under this circumstance, this paper was written in the perspectives of New Security Perspective and Environmental Governance, in order to explore the development of China’s environmental diplomacy after 2000. In the meanwhile, I also try to figure out in this paper that how the PRC government solves his own internal environmental crisis through bilateral- and multilateral environmental diplomacy, and how he tries to use the impact of china''s environmental governance under the wave of global climate change.
