碩士 === 暨南國際大學 === 管理學院經營管理碩士學位學程碩士在職專班 === 100 === From the development and the evolution of the insurance in Taiwan, one can observe that the foreign-currency-dominated non-investment-type insurance has played an important role recently. This study aims to address related issues, including the definition, evolution, and regulations on the foreign-currency-dominated non-investment-type insurance. We further analyze the characteristics of the foreign-currency-dominated non-investment-type insurance, and investigate how fee structure affects the value of the insurance. Particularly, we focus on three dimensions, including pre-, at-, and post-sale periods. As a further investigation, we analyze the operating and market process of the foreign-currency-dominated non-investment-type insurance, and make a comparison with other classes of insurance. The disadvantage of the insurance is the exchange rate risk, which is the severest consideration for investors. Once the consideration been solved, we expect that the basic premium of the foreign-currency-dominated non-investment-type insurance could growth moderately in the futher.
