| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 體育推廣學系碩士班 === 99 === The purposes of this study were to investigate the status, difference, and relationship of leisure sports participation motivation and satisfaction of residents in seitou township sports park in changhua county. A researcher self-developed instrument, 「leisure sports participation motivation and satisfaction of residents survey」, was to used to collect data. 330 participants were selected by convenience sampling, and a total of 300 valid questionnaires were collected, reaching to the rate of 90.9%. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe-test, Pearson’s. The results were as follows: 1. Participants with different demographic variables show no differences to the leisure sports participation motivation. 2. Participants with different genders, marriage statuses, educational levels, occupations, monthly incomes, frequency, transportations, exercise times and types of partners show great difference. 3. There was a significant relationship between leisure sports participation motivation and satisfaction. The explanations of the findings were offered, and the applications of the study were discussed as well. Finally, some suggestions for future studies were provided.
