After the process of polymerization finished, this cell is called “polymer stabilized cholesteric liquid crystal texture” or PSCT. In this work, the PSCT cells show bistable property and reflects specific wavelength. Then, we study the polymer concentration effect in the Eletro-optic properties. We have also studied the effects caused by polymerization time, polymerization intensity, and the concentration of photoinitiator. According to the experimental results, we find that the higher polymer concentration and polymerization intensity used, the less reflectance and transmittance we get , but the response time is much faster.
