However, the force of improvement requires market to support. The biggest market of worldwide consumer electronics is mobile phone. Shipment of mobile phones is already reach 1.3 billion in 2010. The number is still growing. Most of them are smart phones. The growing market provides potential to accelerate new technology. Therefore, mobile phone with pico-projector built-in could be anticipated to reach certain scale of economics. Current technology of pico-projectors is divided into two directions. Patent indexes of pico-projector, such as country, company, inventor and claims could be acquired by searching patent database. This project aims to analyze these patents and provides information for companies who are interested in developing pico-projector.
