Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 99 === Carrier Aggregation (CA) is the key technique to realize wide bandwidth in the LTE-Advanced system. There exist lots of challenge to aggregate multiple Carrier Components (CCs). This study starts with a brief introduction of CA and then discusses the CC assignment of the CA scenarios proposed by the Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo in the third Generation Partnership Project Radio Layer 2 (3GPP RAN2) meeting. A 2-layer algorithms is then proposed. Layer-1 is the proposed CC assignment algorithm, called JWSQ, which considers user transmission situation and carrier loading condition. The JWSQ solves the problem of overlapping of CC among multiple users. Further, Layer-2 is the PF algorithm in the literature. The simulation results proves that the 2-Layer algorithms can enhance the carrier load balance and transmission fairness among users.
