Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 99 === Abstract The aim of this study was to discuss the Department of Mechanical students’ cognition and attitude towards the safety and hygiene in the mechanical engineering’straining workshops. The survey questionnaire method was used in the study, which was conducted in the model of stratified cluster random sampling, including all the Department of Mechanical students in central Taiwan in the school year of 99. Totally, 850 questionnaires were sent out and 783 valid questionnaires were filled out, with the valid recovery rate of 92%. The data was under the frequency, percentile, means, stand and deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA, Scheffé comparison, and Pearson’s p roduct-moment correlation with analysis and discussion to get a conclusion. The conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. The analysis of Vocational Senior High School the Depar tment of Mechanical Students’ cognition and attitude the Safety and Hygiene in the Department of Mechanical’s training workshops. 2. Students’ cognition and attitudes towards the safety and hygiene in the Department of Mechanical's training workshops were in huge difference relating to students’ family backgrounds. 3. Students from different schools were variant in the cognition and attitude towards the safety and hygiene in the Department of Mechanica l ’s training workshops. 4. The noticeable positive correlations were found betweenstudents’ cognition of the safety and hygiene in the Department of Mechanical's training workshops and the iractive attitude.
