However, these museums were all built under similar concepts, and turned out to be very much the same – a see one seen them all scenario. This paper will conduct interviews for two case studies – Taichung and Changhua, and discuss the necessity, current operation and location issues of the aboriginal museums. The reasarch approach of my thesis is multiculturalism, and to understand the aboriginal’s policy of education and language in Taiwan. After that, to think about these questions of local aboriginal museums by two case studies- Taichung and Changhua. 1.It’s helpful to keep and protect the multiculture by setting the local aboriginal museums 2.The function of culture collection and communication will be worked by local aboriginal museums’s operate. 3.The local aboriginal museums can get the goal to build the local aboriginal community positively. 4.It’s necessity to setup the local aboriginal museums. 5.The policy goals of local government will affect the local aboriginal museums’ operating, 6. Local aboriginal museums’ location and traffic will affect the users, Therefore, to differentiate the museums, each museum has to develop its own characters and attract people to come and see.Also, have to solve local aboriginal museums’ problem, like the lack of budget and human resources. There are some suggestions, at first, to be regulated to protect these museums from election cycles, and a secured funding for these museums. The aborigineal museums can be the non-polloted industry and to improve the income of local aboriginal museums by getting the economic benefit form tourist. The Council on Aboriginal Affairs should also review the operation of the museums on a regular base and the review can make sure the policy to implement by local governments, and the review also can discover the implementing gap between central and local. The paper makes sure the necessity of local aborigineal museums and the functions of local aboriginal museums for education, communication and dissemination.
