Contactless Power Transfer System works by the concept of magnetic coupling, through air gap to transfer energy to the load. In the field of the multi load application researches, most of the main Contactless Transformer (CT) is extended by increasing the area of the planar contactless transformer. However, as more load is required more power as more area is required to place the planar CT. The thesis is proposed the stacked planar CT in the platform power supply. The secondary coils are stack one by one, to overcome the disadvantage of large area.
While the proposed system operates in independent coil, the result shows this system overall efficiency could up to 70 %. While system operates in two load and the load RA and RB are equal to 5 Ω, the maximum efficiency of coil A and coil B are 92 % and 82 %, respectively. And, the load RA and RB are equal to 25 Ω, the output power of the coil A and B are 120 W and 200 W, respectively. While the load RA and RB is bigger than 15 Ω, the system efficiency is about 80 %. The proposed multi-load planar contactless power transformer system is up to 84 %.
