Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 99 === A multi-input converter with grid and PV hybrid for fluorescent lamp electronic ballast is proposed in this paper. The proposed multi-input converter is derived from the integrated of two flyback converters with a multi-winding transformer. An half-bridge electronic ballast with zero-current-switching is used as the second stage for lighting up a 36W fluorescent lamp. However, at the starting transient for lighting up the lamp, the PV power cannot fully support the loading. Therefore, the required starting up power would be supplied fully and independently from the grid power. Then, while the lamp is under steady state, the maximum PV power would be delivered to the load and the insufficient part of the required power would be provided by the grid. Finally, a prototype for a 36W fluorescent lamp is constructed and some experiments are carried out to verify the validity of the proposed converter.
