In order to achieve the purpose above, the study adopted a questionnaire survey method and used self made「Questionnaire of the junior high school teachers’ perception and the strategies toward positive discipline」. The participants in this study included 309 public junior high school teachers in Changhua County. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation . The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. The junior school teachers’ perception of positive discipline is above the middle degree. 2. The junior school teachers’ use of strategies towards positive discipline is above the middle degree. 3. In the perception of positive discipline, male teachers and the teachers with administrative work have better understanding than other teachers. 4. In the strategies of positive discipline, the gender、years of teaching experience、 educational background and the scale of the school are not significantly different. 5. There are significantly positive relevance among the perception and strategies towards positive discipline.
