Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 企業管理學系 === 99 === The influence of informal relations on organizations’ operation usually could not be ignored. Besides the formal positions, the informal relations and influence between employers and employees often played the key roles for organizations’ performance. And for every individuals, knew the relationship of among people in the organization well would help them getting the information and resource efficiently. However, the past researches showed that there were always systematic cognitive biases when people perceiving the relations of others and their own networks positions in the organization. So that the purpose of our research is to explore the relation between individuals’ network cognitive accuracy and their networks’ positions in the reality social network. Through analyzing the samples which were a MBA students’ class and an undergraduate students’ class in a certain business school, we surveyed the relation between their friendship networks cognitive accuracy and their true positions in the friendship networks. The empirical results showed that: (1) the actors in the group usually perceived networks relations with self-enhancement; (2) the actors’ global cognitive accuracy was significantly positive related to their centrality in reality networks, including Bonacich power, closeness centrality, and degree centrality; (3) the actor’s self cognitive accuracy was significantly positive related to their centrality in reality networks. Our research suggest that within the individuals’ systematic cognitive biases, people with high global cognitive accuracy might know the relations in the organizations much clearly, so that they would use the social capital efficiently, and promote the dependency from others. Finally, they would get the power to allocate the resource in friendship networks. On the other side, we also suggest that people with high self cognitive accuracy might be with the mastery social skills, thus they own more relations with real benefits which help them acquiring the information and resource they needed in the efficiency ways.
