Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 教育行政與管理學系 === 99 === The purpose of this study is to Gender Ideology of Textbooks and Practicing Gender Equality Education for elementary school teachers in Hualien County in present situations, and other related studies. The questionnaire conducted on a total of 345 samples of questionnaires were distributed, 311 samples were returned back, 308 were valid samples. The variables were analyzed using SPSS for Windows 14.0 statistics package software for t- test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation. According to the result and analysis of this research, the following conclusions were obtained: 1. The elementary school teachers Hualien County are mostly inclined to agree, textbooks delivered the message of gender ideology. 2. The elementary school teachers Hualien County are mostly inclined to agree, for the practice of gender equality in education has a positive attitude. 3. Gender, age, position, years of service, marriage and district, will not affect the textbooks for elementary school teachers in the perception of gender ideology. 4. Highest level of education, school size will affect the elementary school teachers, for textbooks, the perception of gender ideology. 5. Gender, age, highest level of education, years of service, and marital status will not affect practicing gender equality education for elementary school teachers. 6. Position, district, and school size, will affect practicing gender equality education for elementary school teachers. In this study, conclusions based on studies made recommendations for educational administrative agencies, textbook industry, as well as a reference for future research.
