碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 華文文學系 === 99 === This paper takes “The Construction of Female Subjectivity” as a topic, under which the development of “family and memory”, “female issue” and “travel” to discuss the prose by Huang Pao-lien, Chen Yu-Hui and Chung Wen-Yin, and reflection on how they make the construction and identity of their subjectivity by their writings. First, the writings for “childhood memories” from three authors, to see how they write the image of their parents, and the scene between their parents and them in the past. We can observe the beginning of their individuality with their parents to their influence. Next, in “female issue”, the writing on personal experience or observations of others by three authors, we can see a variety of features that the female face their bodies and sexual passion, love and marriage, and the influence of social opinion. Finally, three authors better known for “travel” in the title, we can see how the female treat “travel” and the features of “travel” in female writing, from the way they search for self, the writing on the humanities scenery, and “home” to their meaning. The subject observations in the childhood memories, female issue and travel by three female authors, they are active to look on their own and others. Only by this way to show the unique nature of female subject, and declare that the female have the ability not to be influenced by others.
